When I'm making a stuffing to cook inside a bird; this is my go-to recipe. It's simple and light and tasty
In a large frying pan, melt the butter and add the onion and begin to soften for 5 minutes. Add in the garlic and the oregano and cook for a further minute.
Remove from the heat and add in the bread crumbs and seasoning and combine
Allow to cool and use to stuff the bird
I use this recipe to make a stuffing cooked outside the bird. You can use it as stuffing in the bird as well though

Remove from the heat cool
In a large bowl, add the sausage meat, bread crumbs, cranberries and the cooled onion/apple mixture and combine
You can use this to stuff the turkey or bake individually
To bake outside the bird, place the stuffing into a bread tin and bake for 40 minutes at 180C
