I ummed and erred as to when this cold strawberry soup should be served as it could be a pudding but with the addition of black pepper, it’s just seasoned enough to be a starter.
If you don’t fancy black pepper you can always add something else to give it some additional flavour like cardamom. I do highly recommend the pepper though because it works well with strawberries.
In a blender, combine the strawberries, yoghurt, orange juice, water and black pepper. Purée until well mixed. Chill and serve.
