Tuna has always been a firm favourite of mine for BBQs because it’s got a meaty texture and also is very adaptable to marinating flavours and is firm enough to stay in one piece on the grill.
This Teriyaki Tuna dish is one of the fastest marinating dishes I know and also one of the yummiest
You can use frozen tuna steaks for this recipe; just make sure they are fully defrosted before going into the marinade.
Chop up the garlic and mix together the teriyaki and olive oil and then cover the tuna steaks in the mix.
Pop in the fridge for a minimum of 30 minutes for the tuna to take up the flavour and colour
When ready, BBQ the tuna to how you prefer (note that as the tuna steaks always vary in thickness, I can’t really tell you…)
